Kealey Farmer Visit and Exhibition Thanks!

Huge thanks to everyone who dropped in on Saturday to meet Kealey, come check out the exhibition and take home some beautiful pieces of art.

We had a great day with Kealey, she’s a real star and just like her art; cheerful and fun. There were lots of laughs, old customers and new were having work signed and dedicated by the artist herself. It’s always great fun to meet an artist and we are delighted to be the first Lincolnshire gallery Kealey has ever visited.  The lovely lady charmed us all and we couldn’t have dreamed of a better afternoon. It might have been cold outside but The Little Red Gallery was full of warm smiles.

Kealey Farmer at The Little Red Gallery

We are so excited to announce the lovely Kealey Farmer as our second visiting artist! Kealey will be visiting The Little Red Gallery on Saturday 16th of November.

The Little Red Gallery fell in love with Kealey from day one. Being one of the 1st artists we stocked, her vibrant and colourful paintings have lit up our gallery and bridged the generation gap of art lovers. Our resident art consultant Bethany Venn was quick to claim her own original.

Set the date in your diary, we will be stocking our front room with both Originals and Limited Edition prints from Kealey’s collections. Don’t miss this great opportunity to view some brilliant work, pick up a unique gift for xmas and have a chat with one of contemporary art’s brightest stars.

Kealey will be dropping in between 1pm and 4pm on Saturday 16th of November, be sure to drop in and say hello.

The Little Red Rock Night- Round 1 down Round 2 this Saturday!

Join us at the gallery on Thursday, 24th of October for our rock out event, we’ll be turning the amps up loud!

The gallery will play stage to the rocking Ronnie Wood, Jimi Hendrix, Paul Normansell, Ben Riley, Louis Sidoli and the list goes on and on!

Being huge fans of music as well as contemporary art we couldn’t resist bringing together some of the finest Rock inspired art and artists with local rock acts to create our own gallery gig.

Come round next Thursday and spend an evening looking at iconic rock inspired art with a live soundtrack.

Doors open 7 till late! Mark the date!

Come drink our wine, eat our food, hear some great live music and enjoy the scenery.

Due to popular demand and the most comically inconveniently timed boiler malfunction and subsequent indoor monsoon/water feature we’ve added a 2nd date to our Rock Night event.

A little earlier than yesterday we’re kicking off from midday onwards. Come down this Saturday afternoon, 26th of October, for a second chance to see the fantastic art and help us drink our beer before we do ourselves a mischief trying to get through it all.

Christmas orders for 2013

October has landed  and so the count down to Christmas has begun. We find the madness of christmas always rolls around early, with offers in supermarkets and street lights up as soon as we see the back of Halloween.

However, one time where forward planning doesn’t go amiss is Christmas presents and especially if your heart is set on art. The Little Red Gallery is on a mission to make sure everyone gets their perfect gift this year.

If you are thinking of getting a loved one a piece of contemporary art this christmas we have the perfect gifts and even if there is nothing on our walls that quite hits the spot we can source any specific pieces if requested.

Just to be sure no one is disappointed 25th of december we thought it best to give a quick run down of the timings of deliveries.

~Any pictures in the gallery can be picked up on day of purchase.

~Any pictures purchased can be delivered within 3 to 5 days .

~Any requests for art not currently in stock can take 2 to 4 weeks to arrive in the gallery.

~Any requests for reframing of existing work can take up to 2 weeks.

~Any specific commissions can take 5 to 6 weeks for painting, framing and delivery.

~Any purchases can be stored in the gallery and collected at your leisure, help stop friends and family sneaking presents early.

~We are happy to send work internationally but of course this offers further time constraints. Last dates for DHL deliveries to Germany are 17th of December, Europe is 16th of December, North America is 11th of December and the rest of the world by 9th of December.

We will be opening late throughout October, November and December for anyone who wants a chance to pick up a gift in the week but can’t get over to the Bail by 6pm.

Antiques Fair on Castle Square- Thanks!

Big thanks to everyone who came out last Sunday to make Lincoln’s Castle Square Antiques Fair one of the best of the year.

Yet again The Little Red Gallery had a great day meeting you all, enjoying the sunshine (while it lasts…) and basking in the beauty of the Bailgate.

We can’t wait for Spring to roll round so we can get out there again but plenty of fun to keep us going over Winter. Including October’s Rock n Roll night, Kealey Farmer dropping into the gallery with her new collection in November and of course the legendary Lincoln Christmas Market.
