In doing so, they separate creator from creation and force audiences to focus entirely on the artwork. Casting aside the heavy weight of preconception, we gain the freedom to form our own opinions the work. As we wander through this magical world, shrouded in mystery, it is the art which becomes the narrator, rather than than the creator of the work. Far from gimmicky, it's liberating.
