Joanna Pass

Joanna Pass is a painter and printmaker living in the beautiful county of Lincolnshire.  She draws inspiration from her passion for wildlife, nature and the living world.  Her observations, fascinations and encounters with her subjects allow her to bring firm foundations and life to her work.

At her easel, Joanna paints in a very intuitive manner, creating paintings that are expressive in style with gestural brushstrokes.  She predominantly works with acrylic paint on board.

In her studio, with her etching press, Joanna creates very special limited edition original prints.  Usually working with drypoint or monoprint, she particularly enjoys the challenges and unpredictable nature of printmaking by hand.
