Ben Wainwright

Ben Wainwright was born in Manchester in the late sixties. His artistic talent shone through at an early age, drawing and painting whenever possible. He started his artistic career as a graphic designer, later becoming freelance, although his ambition was always to be a professional artist.

Over the course of his life, Ben has developed a style of painting that features cities and towns in a monochrome, realist style. He enhances each piece with just a touch of colour, giving a visual surprise but also stopped the pieces from becoming dark or sombre.
