Barrington originally studied furniture design at Loughborough and left with a degree in 3D design. Combining his skills for furniture and interior design, Barrington started up his own company which designed and produced all types of office furniture. He was lucky enough to acquire a patent on one of these designs, which catapulted him across the globe.
However, as exciting as all of that was, it was painting that always brough Barrington back down to earth - and, whenever he could, he would steal a few moments away to keep the passion going.
He is now a popular landscape artist who has had his talent recognised by the National Trust, where he had been appointed as one of their official artists.
