Ana Ortiz

Ana Ortiz was born in Madrid in 1987 and now lives and works in England.

Ana originally graduated as a Technical Architect before she went on to a post graduate degree in Building Engineering at the Europea University of Madrid. Following her later teaching qualification at the  Alcala de Henares University of Madrid, Ana came to England to further her teaching experience and study of the English language. Her background in architecture has inspired many technical and structural designs in her artwork. Modernist in her approach, Ana's artwork is predominantly abstract and minimalist. 

Experimenting in a wide range of media and techniques, including paint and ink, Ana's work is unique and ever evolving. Her designs are inspired by her travels and are produced from experiments with her various mixed media. 

Ana is married with two children and is now a full time professional artist.
